Fit: Suit Jacket

Bond wears a classic well tailored suit jacket.
The fit and cut of a suit jacket are by far the most important to get as accurate as possible. The first thing you should look for in a suit are your shoulders, they must be sharply cut, and never droop down. Typically, the cut of your shoulders are the first thing people tend to look at. Second, your back and collar should not be creased or rippled. If it is you may not go down a size. The suit should also be cut with a curvature to highlight the V-taper going from your upper back to your abdominal area/waist. Moreover, if you can achieve a tight fitted back, it will create a small break in the lapels over your upper torso, creating a widening effect of your chest. Now finally, the length of the blazer should stop at the middle of your hand when you stand up, and your sleeves should be short enough to allow for 0.5 inches of your short sleeve to show.
