With jeans, the tighter it is, the better it is.
Jeans typically stretch out, and nowadays popular brands such as levis have
been incorporating Lycra to provide even more of stretch in the denim material.
Always err on the smaller side when deciding between two pairs of jeans.
Ideally, you should be able to just do up the top button without you having to
suck in your gut. Also, your jeans should break just on the top of your shoes,
with no creases or folds. If it is slightly long, you can fold the bottom up,
or get it tailored. Tailoring obviously gives a more permanent and professional
look.
